Angler’s Alibi Alaska Salmon Fishing Lodge
Angler’s Alibi is considered to be an excellent Alaska salmon fly fishing lodge to go to in order to target salmon on the fly. It is no doubt that Angler’s Alibi, located right in the center of the tidewater on the Alagnak River, is one of the best Alaska salmon fly fishing lodges in the state. Bristol Bay has the largest salmon runs in the world, and the Alagnak River is one of the top 3 salmon rivers in this area of many rivers.
The beauty of the Alagnak is that it is the easiest of the top 3 rivers in Bristol Bay to fly fish due to its size and easy wading. The Kvichak River and the Nushagak rivers have great numbers of salmon as well but do not have the tidewater fishing that the Alagnak has due to its size in the tidal zone. This is a hard river to beat when it comes to the sheer numbers of Pacific salmon one can catch while fly fishing on a daily basis starting the first week of July through the middle of August.
