Our Alaska fly fishing lodge, Angler’s Alibi, is situated on the Alagnak River near Bristol Bay Alaska. This location supports a fishery that is literally right out our door. We experience all 5 species of salmon on the Alagnak River, as well as great trophy Alaska rainbow trout and grayling fishery. This location in Bristol Bay also allows our guests to experience unbelievable Alaska fly out lodge fishing as well in nearby Katmai National Park. We are fortunate to have a great reputation in the lodge business with one of the highest return rates of guests in the state. This return rate should speak volumes in not only our Alaska fishing program, but also our level of customer service we provide to our guests on a daily basis both on the water and off.
Angler’s Alibi has a very flexible fishing program. We offer 9 hours of guided Alaska fishing every day before cocktail hour, then even more if the guest wants before our 10pm curfew. There are not many lodges in the state of Alaska that offer this many hours of guided Alaska fishing. One of the many reasons we have such a high return rate of guests.
We take 10 guests per week, and can take 11 at full capacity as long as there are 3 anglers that want to break our 2 to 1 guest to guide ratio. This small amount of guests is another thing that keeps us different from the other Alaska lodges. Our small guest count makes the camaraderie around camp wonderful and the family environment strong.
Our king salmon fishing in the month of July is supplemented with sockeye salmon, chum salmon, and trout fishing. We have so many options on a daily basis, we let the guests dictate what they want to do. We take advantage of flying out on good weather days as this is not a necessity for great fishing. These good weather days provide our guests with great sight fishing opportunities for trophy Alaska rainbow trout and grayling.
These are only a few reasons why you should consider Angler’s Alibi if an Alaska fishing trip of a lifetime is in your radar!
