Availability: The 2023 Alaska fishing season runs from Wednesday June 28 - September 20 on the Alagnak River. Space is limited to 12 people per week. Angler's Alibi has a return rate of 80% or more, so availability is limited for 2023. See the 2023 fishing season dates here.
What is included: Anglers Alibi provides an all-inclusive Alaska fishing trip - That includes a round trip float-plane charter between King Salmon and Angler’s Alibi; deluxe tent cabin accommodations; housekeeping service; all meals; daily guided fishing; rods, reels, flies, and lures. All taxes for the Borough are included as well as National Park service fees and taxes. We aim to not add any additional costs that would seem as “nickel and dime” to most people. We try and keep Angler’s Alibi 100% ALL INCLUSIVE. Make sure to check on the extras with other lodges if you are shopping other areas.
What is not included: Round trip transportation between your home city and Anchorage; accommodations in Anchorage; waders and rain gear; items of a personal nature such as toiletries and cool weather clothing; spirits; fishing license; gratuities. Braids trips have a $400 surcharge for the boat for the day. We use about four times the amount of fuel on this round trip in comparison to our standard days in the lower river. We have had this charge since purchasing our first jet boat in 1995, and back then it was $300 for the day.
How to get to King Salmon: All guests starting in 2020 will utilize a private charter for the Anchorage to King Salmon portion of the trip. This is a per seat fee of $675 per person in 2022 and will go up slightly for 2023 for the round trip air taxi, but this new fee is an unknown in the fall of 2022. The air taxi will depart the small private hangar off of Lake Hood right next to Ted Stevens International Airport.
Payment: Guests can pay for their trip with a personal check, Visa, or Master Card. If the credit card option is used, there will be an additional 3% charge to cover the credit card processing fee.
Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remainder is due 90 days before the arrival date. Deposits are refundable to the extent that the opening is filled within 60 days of the arrival date. Deposits forfeited inside the 60 days before arrival which occur as a result of circumstances outside the guest’s control, such as illness or family emergency, or pandemic travel restriction will result in the deposit being carried over to the following year only.
