Alagnak River Fly Fishing

​Angler’s Alibi, a deluxe tent lodge specializing in remote Alaska Alagnak River fly fishing for not only Alaska salmon, but also Alaska trophy rainbow trout, is looking forward to the start of the 2012 summer season.  With the higher water predicted, we are eagerly awaiting another strong king salmon run and an overall great summer for salmon fishing conditions in Bristol Bay.

New to our site this summer will be a weekly fishing report.  This may or may not include video depending on some of the logistics that we are going through right now,  but, we will definitely give fish counts for the different species caught and also summaries of our Alaska fly-0ut fishing  we do on a weekly basis as well.

Angler’s Alibi, a remote Alaska fly fishing lodge, will always try to exceed our guest’s expectations, and make every week an Alaska trip of a lifetime!

About the Author

​John Perry grew up in Michigan on an island called Grosse Ile, in the mouth of the Detroit River and Lake Erie. It was here, surrounded by great fishing and waterfowl hunting that John developed a passion for the outdoors. John moved to Colorado to chase trout in the summers and ski patrol in the winters. John had the privilege to start guiding for Angler’s Alibi with his fly fishing mentor TR Rafferty the second year it was in business. He left a head guide job in Colorado to pursue bigger and better fish.
