The Alagnak River located in the famous Bristol Bay watershed, and is one of the best rivers in all of Alaska, if not the best all around river for fly fishing in the world. Angler’s Alibi is located right in the center of the tidewater, which means we can only fish about 5 miles downstream from our lodge without being in the brackish waters of Bristol Bay.
It is no secret that spey casting and switch rod fishing is, and has been, the new rage for steelhead fisherman and salmon fisherman in the United States for the past several seasons. Spey fishing on the Alagnak River is the perfect classroom as there is great, stable wading on firm sand bars for silvers, chums, pinks, as well as King Salmon.
