​My son and I had the most amazing time with two friends who had fished with Angler’s Alibi before.  Their stories and pictures seemed too good to be true…so we joined them in August 2008.  There are hardly words to describe our experience…every expectation was met beyond measure.

The Anglers Alibi cam crew and fishing guides treated us like royalty.  We caught so many salmon, trout and char we could not keep count.  The bears and Alaska wilderness experience were breath taking.  Did I mention food?  I thought we were on an ocean cruise the food was so great…

This was THE ultimate memory making father-son adventure.

About the Author

​John Perry grew up in Michigan on an island called Grosse Ile, in the mouth of the Detroit River and Lake Erie. It was here, surrounded by great fishing and waterfowl hunting that John developed a passion for the outdoors. John moved to Colorado to chase trout in the summers and ski patrol in the winters. John had the privilege to start guiding for Angler’s Alibi with his fly fishing mentor TR Rafferty the second year it was in business. He left a head guide job in Colorado to pursue bigger and better fish.
