Our Alaska fly out lodge is one that does not have to fly out daily to experience the amazing fishing that Bristol Bay has to offer. Our Alaska fly out lodge is located on the tidewater section of one of the best salmon rivers in all of Alaska, the Alagnak River. Angler’s Alibi offers fly outs to nearby Katmai National Park and Preserve, and we take an average of one fly out per week. This is only an average, because when the salmon start to spawn in the mountains, we usually end up taking at least two fly outs per week. The fishing is so amazing at our Alaska fly out lodge during our short season, that flying out is not necessary at all. In fact, several of our guests stay the whole week without ever leaving the Alagnak River. We are only open when the salmon are pouring into the Alagnak River daily on the tides. This ensures that from the first day our guests arrive, to the last day, there are salmon to be caught right at our lodge. We utilize 5 guide boats daily with a two to one guest to guide ratio. Our daily Alaska fishing program is one that requires very short boat rides to prime fishing spots on the Alagnak River. We do love to fly out fish Alaska though. With so many famous Alaska Rivers only minutes away via a float plane ride, it is hard not to jump at the chance to not only target Alaska trophy trout, but also fish amongst the bears in Katmai National Park. We fly fish several famous Alaska Rivers in the Bristol bay watershed from our lodge. The famous Moraine Creek, Funnel Creek, Brooks River, Kulik River, Contact Creek, and American Creek are just a few of the Alaska Rivers we fish on our Alaska fly outs. I hope this helps you out with who we are at Angler’s Alibi Alaska. We love to put our guests on great Alaska fly fishing every day of their stay, and also show them the region of Bristol Bay we guide in via float plane from our Alaska fly out lodge. About the Author
