Angler’s Alibi is a great example of what an Alaska salmon fly fishing lodge should be. We are literally right on the Alagnak River. With this location right in the center of the tidewater section of the Alagnak River, we can fish for Alaska salmon on the fly every day we are open. We are only open starting around July 1, and end in late August. Every day we are open, we have fresh Pacific salmon pouring into the Alagnak River. Catching Pacific salmon on the fly is what we do at Angler’s Alibi, as well as target Alaska trophy rainbow trout. Out location ensures that our guests will not have to travel far to experience the best fly fishing Alaska has to offer. Our maximum boat ride for targeting Pacific salmon on the fly is no longer than 10 minutes. If our guests elect to take an optional fly-out, these are anywhere from a 25 to 60 minute rides. Our staff at our Alaska salmon fly fishing lodge are experienced in all aspects of lodge life. Our 5 guides are all licensed Coast guard captains, and our chef with 3 helpers are very experienced with the hospitality aspect of Angler’s. Our guides all have Alaska guide experience and some have close to 20 years of it! Our culinary delights are a big part in what keeps our return rate of guests so high too. Fresh homemade bread, deserts, and appetizers ever day of the summer are a huge reason why our guests keep coming back. The Alaska fly fishing with Angler’s Alibi is quite an experience. We offer 9 plus hours daily of guided fishing. Our program is tailored to each guests individual needs and wants every day of their stay. We rotate our guides daily, and let the guests have a comfortable plan for the day. In fact, if at any time during the day we need to fillet some fish or take a bathroom break, we are only a very short drive away from camp. These are just some of the reasons Angler’s Alibi Alaska is successful with being a true Alaska salmon fly fishing lodge! About the Author
