Week 7 is toted as our best silver week of the year. With the late start of the pinks, and the continued sunny weather, we were still catching huge pink salmon all day long with having to go deep to target the silver salmon from the boat, or sink tips from the drop offs of bars as they were staying deep in the bright weather. At the end of the week, the nice weather broke and we were treated with good normal rain and wind…which meant catching silvers like we were catching pinks with triple headers one after another! Fly-outs to Moraine and Contact Creek were literally as good as it get’s with great numbers of big bows on Moraine and unbelievable numbers for huge char on Contact Creek! What a great way to end the season on a silver high note and fly out for the ages About the Author
