The 2012 Bristol Bay Salmon season has felt the effects of Alaska’s late, cold Spring. Angler’s Alibi has seen a delay of the historic Salmon runs by 2-4 days, with the Sockeye showing up around June 29, and the first good push of Kings around the 4th of July. Sockeye have been arriving in waves, usually marked by higher than normal tides, and have been providing excellent fishing when they are moving through. King Salmon fishing on the fly has been strong since they entered the system, providing steady action throughout the river. Chartreuse and pink fly patterns have been producing on kings with some very aggressive takes on the strip!
Here we offer another review of a guests time fishing with Anglers Alibi in Alaska. You’ll notice they reference fishing with friends that fished with us before – not surprising, as we have a high rate of return guests. Additional testimonials can be viewed at Anglers Alibi Trip Advisor page and we are happy to help with any questions as you plan your Alaskan fishing trip – Contact Anglers Alibi.
